The Makery is a DIY workshop event space where we gather to create modern and beautiful home decor. The Makery KC events have been held at the beautiful historic building of Bella Patina in the West Bottom's shopping district since 2016. Now you can invite The Makery to join The Fashion Truck to make an event to remeber for your guests.
Welcome to The Makery KC, where we love to create and inspire.
At The Makery KC you will make beautiful, modern projects amongst friends. We provide the materials, inspiration and instruction to guide you in producing an on-trend home decor or giftable product. Seemingly complicated projects found on Pinterest, Instagram and home shows look lovely, but feel intimidating to DIY. The Makery KC has found a way to bring those projects to life, no matter the skill level of the maker.
Bonus: we also lavish you with carefully picked wine, perfectly paired with a delicious small bite to help fuel your project making experience!
Events take place during First Friday Weekends in the West Bottoms, one of the hottest shopping destinations in Kansas City! The Makery KC brings you a full spectrum of fun from shopping to sipping and eating to creating.
Bring your girlfriends, spouse, mom, aunts, and sisters and we will make sure you have fun, create something to be proud of and try something new and delicious.
